For any back exercise that you do, there is one basic yet powerful piece of advice that allows you to gain muscle quickly and increases how much weight you can use.

Lots of people don't know about this…

This method is effective, and if you aren't using this simple bit of gym equipment so that you can gain muscle quickly, you would be shocked to learn how much you are diminishing your gains.

So what is this mythical equipment that you need to gain muscle quickly?

Just some old fashioned lifting straps! It is such a basic yet powerful piece of equipment that lets you gain muscle quickly, but far too many people fail to utilize them.

If you have never seen a lifting strap, it's a set of straps that you wrap around your wrists and connect to the equipment that you are lifting like a barbell or dumbbell.

By preventing grip slippages, these straps allow you to maintain a safe yet tight connection between your wrists and the weights you are lifting so that you can gain muscle quickly.

By using lifting straps, you're able to lift the bar and complete your exercises without stressing your forearms. This is crucial, and here's why…

Say for instance you want to do 8 reps of deadlifts, just possibly the greatest muscle-building exercise ever invented.

You pump yourself up, tightly grab the bar and begin your set.

You're pushing through your set with no problems until you reach your fifth rep, at which point your grip is so greatly strained that you are struggling to maintain possession of the bar.

You are forced to quit your set early because your forearms have failed. What is the problem?

You destroyed your set with a great forearm workout!

Take a bow! It's a shame that you missed out on all the muscle stress that you could have generated in your back, legs, shoulders, and virtually every other muscle group in the body that the deadlift stimulates.

Very bad!

By using a lifting strap, you would have prevented this from occurring because you would gotten failure in the muscle groups that the deadlift stimulates, which would have helped you to gain muscle quickly.

It's suggested that you utilize a lifting strap for any exercise where your grip could come into play.

There are those that would tell you that lifting straps are nothing more than a "crutch" that hinders you from adequately developing grip strength and forearm size. Oh really? What are you after-to gain muscle quickly in your back, legs, and shoulders, or do you want to be able to open any jar of pickles?

Your decision. When you see how much muscle you've added to your entire body, you'll be glad you passed up on using the deadlift to improve your forearms and grip.

You can always work on your forearm size and grip strength by using targeted forearm exercises.
